Understanding the need
Runeur is an innovative SaaS solution designed to modernise the day-to-day running of restaurants. Faced with the growing complexity of managing bookings and changing customer expectations, restaurateurs needed a centralised, intuitive and efficient tool. The challenge was to create a platform able to replace several separate tools while remaining accessible to professionals without advanced technical training.
Identifying the stakes
The restaurant sector was suffering from fragmented management tools: phone bookings, paper floor plans, scattered customer files. Restaurateurs were losing valuable time and lacked insight into their business. The aim was to design an interface for managing real-time bookings and a dynamic, interactive floor plan simultaneously, while collecting and using customer data to improve service. The solution also had to guarantee optimal performance even at peak times.
The bespoke answer
We developed a full-stack web application with a modern, scalable architecture. The interface offers a drag-and-drop interactive floor plan, an online booking system synchronised in real time and a CRM dedicated to restaurateurs. The robust backend handles load peaks and provides advanced statistics for optimising occupancy. The focus was on UX/UI to make the tool accessible from first use, with guided onboarding and intuitive features.
