Understanding the need
BLISSS is an exceptional fine-dining restaurant in Cenon, on Bordeaux's Right Bank. Anthony and Isabelle came up with a unique concept: a culinary experience with no menu, where the meal is revealed at the last moment, in step with the seasons. With only a few tables and an approach based on surprise and discovery, BLISSS needed a website that went beyond simple online booking to become a truly immersive digital experience. The challenge was to translate this avant-garde culinary philosophy into a web journey that mentally prepares visitors for this extraordinary experience.
Identifying the stakes
How do you build a website for a restaurant that deliberately refuses to show its menu? BLISSS did not want a conventional showcase site, but a digital extension of its philosophy: mystery, anticipation, gradual discovery. The booking system had to be built into a captivating narrative journey while handling very specific constraints: limited tables, synchronised service, access codes for gift vouchers and information shared gradually. It also had to reflect the standards and refinement of the venue without falling into the expected visual codes of high-end gastronomy.
The bespoke answer
We designed “Le Parcours Invisible”, a multi-stage digital experience that turns visiting the site into mental preparation for dinner. Visitors gradually discover the BLISSS world through immersive storytelling, with navigation choices that reflect the restaurant's philosophy. The booking system is built into this narrative journey, with smart handling of access codes for gift vouchers and invitations. Minimalist design, fluid animation and sophisticated typography create an atmosphere of elegant mystery. Every technical detail serves the experience: fluid transitions, careful micro-interactions and an information architecture that reveals gradually without giving everything away.

I came with an idea that, at first, might have seemed a little crazy. Thanks to their attentiveness, their professionalism and their patience, they brought it to life, far beyond my expectations.
I was particularly demanding throughout the project, asking for many adjustments and sometimes even for whole sections to be redone. They were always there, with kindness, valuable advice and a genuine will to reach the best possible result.
